I’m Appi, a senior UX designer specialising in EdTech. I lead teams and drive design strategy to deliver impactful and accessible experiences.
About
I’m a Senior UX Designer at CUPA, leading design for Cambridge International’s integrated learning products. I lead end-to-end UX, combining research, strategy, and design thinking to create meaningful solutions for our users.
My start in UX stems from my experience working for world leading academic publishers, where I worked with product teams to create efficient user workflows and solutions to enhance user experience using insights from real users, all while ensuring solutions facilitate wider business goals and timelines.
Currently, I work on a variety projects that span the entire UX process - from research and discovery through to ideation, testing and UI, as well as accessibility compliance and QA. As a senior designer, I'm a mentor for other designers in my team and an UX advocate in wider digital and business teams.
Something interesting I'm working on at the moment, is on how generative AI can be leveraged to redefine or enhance digital teaching through content creation and lesson planning.
Besides UX, I love music! When I can, I go to gigs and shows around town, and I'm a drummer (I would love to be in a neo-jazz band someday!). Other pastimes include wandering around cities to people watch and museum hop, watching cinema, or playing video games (long time simmer, full time cozy gamer, dedicated Rockstar Games fan). Oh and spending time my stupidly adorable cat, Gwen!
